Responsibilities of Sponsorship

Duties of the Sponsor:

Being a sponsor is a commitment not only to the teen, but to the Vida Nueva and Tres Dias Community. You must
know the candidate well. Vida Nueva is for Christians who desire a closer walk with the Lord.

Be honest! The person you sponsor needs to know a weekend is a very busy and intensive learning experience in
Christianity. Explain the basic format without giving away the fun surprises. Secrecy has no place in Vida Nueva
or Tres Dias.

Pray for the person you sponsor as they await their weekend encounter with Christ.

You must be willing to provide support before, during and after the weekend!

Who can attend?

- Teens who desire a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
- Teens from all Christian denominations.
- Teens who are 15 through 20 years of age.
- Teens have not previously attended a Chrysalis, Search or similar weekend recognized as equivalent by VN.
